Boston Technology deployed Sharepoint and tailored the platform to provide the client with a solution that had built-in content management, approval workflows, granular security and enterprise search.

The client required a centralized and comprehensive customer portal built on the Sharepoint platform. The portal had to serve more than 10,000 individuals from the client's customer base that included residential, business clients and partners, in addition to some internal clients. The primary vision for the portal solution was for it to serve as a centralized customer channel communications platform, giving access to detailed energy solutions, and pricing, collateral and digital assets. Boston Technology was part of the group that deployed and customized Sharepoint across their infrastructure.
