LEGACY eCOMMERCE APPLICATION MIGRATION
Boston Technology migrated their B2C legacy high-volume eCommerce application from Delphi to Java/J2EE and built a web services middle-tier to integrate it with the ERP backend. This was for a leading US based company providing facilities management & career apparel to private and public institutions. Boston Technology also developed a custom content management system using Google Web Toolkit and an Oracle database to manage products, categories, assortments and also content on the eCommerce site. RECONNAISSANCE APPLICATION
Boston Technology was involved in developing a reconnaissance application to detect high risk customers and foreign accounts for a mutual fund and financial analysis group. Daily Feeds are received from Equifax and MIS and based on the customer profiles, daily and monthly reports are generated. We were involved in developing both the .NET UI and the backend for the application. |

CONTACT DATA SYNC APPLICATION
The customers (field personnel) of an industrial and medical devices company can store and access contact information both on the handheld devices as well as on the web. This contact information needed to be synced up real time across the web and device channel. Boston Technology built a web service that integrated with the Contacts web application as well as with the device software to maintain a real-time sync of data accessed across both the platforms. |

INTEGRATED eCOMMERCE FRAMEWORK
Boston Technology developed a common platform for integrating various sub applications of this ecommerce company’s client. We developed modules to publish new product catalogs and exposed web services for publishing these to various stores. We also provided personalization features based on the users’ shopping behavior and developed a sub application to scan the images from the catalogs and send it to the integration engine which would then upload them to Merchant tool and Storefront. The integration engine was responsible for coupling all these sub applications and communicating with each other using Web Services and workflow tools like TIBCO. |
